Nordic Film Days Lübeck

"The" festival for films from the Nordic and Baltic countries

Feature films, documentaries and short films from Scandinavia, the Baltic States, Finland and Iceland: The Nordic Film Days Lübeck is the only festival in Germany (and together with the Festival du cinéma nordique in Rouen, France, which came into being later in Europe) to specialise entirely in the presentation of films from the north and north-east of the continent. The Nordic Film Days Lübeck were founded as early as 1956 and have been held every year since then at the beginning of November.
